Happy Halloween Crab! I'm returning to Costa Rica for the first time with actual camera equipment. But my first two trips with rudimentary digital point-and-shoots rekindled my interest in photography. Check back soon to see what I find!

A three-toed sloth stretches for a limb. Their fur has a green tinge from algae.
Fog rolls across Monteverde Cloud Forest.
A black-mantled howler monkey peers up at the rainforest canopy. Their roars are among the loudest made by any animal on Earth.
A coati digs up hermit crabs on the beach. Yum!
A capuchin leaps through a gap in the rainforest at Manuel Antonio.
A black iguana basks on a tree root as the morning tides come in at Manuel Antonio.
The red-eyed tree frog is Costa Rica's mascot. I hope to photograph lots of froggies and other little guys on my trip.
